Weston Programs to assist Low and Moderate Income Residents

Home Repair Grant Program

The Weston Affordable Housing Trust (WAHT) is piloting a Home Repair Grant Program. The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance to income eligible Weston residents that currently own a home that has an affordable housing deed restriction in place. The grant may be used to make general repairs to rehabilitate your home to make it safe and sanitary. The program is sponsored by the Weston Affordable Housing Trust (WAHT) for the benefit of Weston residents. The maximum grant amount is anticipated to be approximately $5,000. Further information on the program is available here.

General Assistance

Weston Council on Aging

The Weston Council on Aging is open Monday through Friday, from 9am to 4pm. While primarily designed for seniors, the Council is able to provide assistance, or direct all community members, with regard to:

  • The Weston Food Pantry
  • Senior Service or Valor Program
  • Fuel or cold weather assistance
  • Information or social service referrals - health, housing, insurance, in-home assistance, legal matters, and tax concerns
  • Medical equipment loans
  • Transportation

Clothing Assistance

The Women's Community League of Weston hosts a clothing exchange selling clothing for men, women, and children on Tuesdays, from 10am to 4pm, from September through May. Light luncheon food is available for a fee from 11am until 2pm.

Food Assistance

Weston's United Methodist Church hosts community meals on the second Wednesday of each month, starting at 5:30pm. A $5 donation is requested for those who are able to pay. Please RSVP with the church office.

Legal Services

Metrowest Legal Services, located in Framingham, can be contacted to answer questions or to provide referrals to Weston residents at no charge.
