Tenancy Preservation Program

The Tenancy Preservation Program (for people with disabilities only)

The”TPP” program is typically accessed through Housing Court, although tenants and their families may also contact the program directors (see below).

TPP works with tenants, including families, facing eviction as a result of behavior related to a disability.  In consultation with the Housing Court Department, TPP works with the landlord and tenant to determine whether the disability can be reasonably accommodated and whether the tenancy can be preserved. TPP functions as a neutral mediator between the landlord and the tenant.  Please see their website for more information, or contact the program director:
